Feast Of The Goat (2002) is the second Mario Vargas Llosa novel I've read, and as much as I liked The Bad Girl, this novel surpassed it in my estimation. I enjoyed the AHS conference tremendously, but the real highlight for me was the sustainable feast (and the goats, I totally fell in love with the brown one with the red collar!).
